Our blog is curated by our SH team and talented Marketing/PR interns. Meet them below!

Lauren Bledsoe // Marketing & PR Intern

Lauren is currently a senior at Duke University studying Public Policy, Spanish and Markets & Management. She credits such studies with granting her exposure to a variety of fields and allowing her to pursue diverse interests, both on a domestic and an international level.  As a sophomore, Lauren jumped at the chance to study abroad in Madrid, Spain, an experience she glories and talks about to this day. She followed up this experience with a summer in Switzerland and a fall semester in Scotland.  She is finally back at Duke to stay—until she’s forced to leave after graduation in the spring. On campus, Lauren leads her rhythm tap group On Tap, serves on the executive board for the university’s Dance Council, participates in the Marketing Club, volunteers at the Emily K. Center and works in Creative Services for The Chronicle. Lauren enjoys cardio dancing, kickboxing, party rocking, reading, shopping, ‘shopping (as in Photoshopping), tapping, wopping, and alphabetizing long lists.

Alice Chen // Marketing & PR Intern

Alice is a senior double majoring in Economics and English at Duke University. When she’s not busy being a Cameron Crazie or working with her sorority as the Vice-President of the Duke chapter of Chi Omega, she enjoys shopping, Taylor Swift concerts, and Gossip Girl/take-out nights with friends. She loves Scandinavian fashion and contemporary poetry an unhealthy amount, and hopes to pursue a career in advertising. Alice loves working at School House and being part of a team that makes Blue Devil gear that’s as socially responsible as it is fierce.
